ABA Seeks Pro Bono Lawyers to Assist with Legal Issues from Puerto Rico and USVI Hurricanes

The American Bar Association is coordinating efforts to assist hurricane victims with legal issues in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands by creating a hotline in conjunction with the Louisiana Civil Justice Center (LCJC).

The ABA asks interested lawyers who are licensed in the USVI or Puerto Rico to accept referrals of cases from the LCJC, and attorneys not licensed in the USVI or Puerto Rico to assist with legal research or federal and administrative law questions.

Interested lawyers may sign up online here.
