Many legal aid offices are overwhelmed with applications for assistance with uncontested divorces. Volunteer attorneys are needed to take these cases pro bono to help meet the demand. https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3152934640054781186
Lawyers who are willing to assist may sign up for a CLE webinar on Monday, October 23, at 1 p.m. This CLE will train attorneys to represent clients in uncontested divorce proceedings in any jurisdiction in Virginia. The CLE will cover both procedural and substantive aspects of these type of cases. A training manual and sample documents will be provided at training. This webinar is being submitted for 1.5 hours of MCLE.
In consideration for the free training, attorneys agree to accept an uncontested divorce referral and understand that their name will be shared with the legal aid pro bono program in their jurisdiction.
