Supreme Court of Virginia Seeks Lawyers for Medical Malpractice Review Panels

The Supreme Court of Virginia has asked the Virginia State Bar to provide an updated list of attorneys willing to serve on Medical Malpractice Review Panels (MMRPs).  If you are interested in serving, please send a short bio or resume to Nominations@vsb.org. Application deadline: May 31, 2018.          

To be qualified to serve, the attorney must be:

  1. impartial;
  2. an active in-good-standing member of the Virginia State Bar;
  3. actively practicing;
  4. have a clean disciplinary record.

Twenty members will be appointed, to replace one-third of the current members who must rotate off the list each year.
