Voting for the Virginia State Bar Council elections for circuits 1, 7, 13, 14, 17, 18, and 19 is open beginning April 10. Please follow the links located beneath the preceding circuit numbers to learn more about the candidates.
On April 10, 2017, any member in the specified circuits who is Active and In Good Standing as of March 15, 2017, should receive an e-mail from “Virginia State Bar Election Coordinator” with a link for voting in the Virginia State Bar Council Election. The subject line will be “Virginia State Bar Council Election Login Information.” To ensure e-mail with voting information arrives safely in your inbox, please add the following e-mail address as a safe sender: email@example.com. These settings can be made in your e-mail account SPAM/Junk filters or by contacting your IT department. This process is often referred to as “whitelisting.”
Voting is open until April 28 at 11:59 p.m. The process takes only a few seconds if you have already made up your mind, and links are present on the online ballot to learn more about each candidate should you choose to do so. Please remember to vote.
If you have not received your login information by April 11, 2017, please go to https://www.directvote.net/VSBcir/sendID.aspx to have your voting instructions resent.
